GCU Formula Student 2025 Car Unveiling

We’re delighted to invite you to the unveiling of the GCU Formula Student Team’s 2025 car, taking place on Wednesday 9th July at 5pm in the Annie Lennox Building Foyer, alongside our valued industry sponsors and partners.This year, the team is proud to once again compete in Formula Student 2025 - Europe’s premier educational engineering competition, led by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. It challenges university teams to design, build, and race single-seater cars, while developing the full spectrum of skills needed for a successful career in motorsport and engineering.Ahead of the Silverstone competition, we’re excited to showcase the impressive result of our students’ hard work, innovation, and collaboration. Your support has been instrumental - removing financial barriers and helping ensure that every student can take part regardless of background.Since making their debut in 2023, GCU students have made remarkable progress, climbing from 54th to 48th place in 2024. With your continued support, they aim to go even further this year - building skills, confidence, and real-world experience. Alumni like TJ Scott, who secured a role with Mercedes after presenting at the competition, reflect the exciting futures this initiative makes possible.We’d be thrilled to have you with us for this special celebration.
